2nd Workshop in the Womens Coaching Series:

We are excited to announce that the 2nd Workshop in the Women's Coaching Series - Chiefs Region is only two weeks away! On Sunday 27th May at Melville Rugby Club.

In this workshop, we continue to build on some of the learnings and feedback from the 1st workshop and have included two experts in psychology & rugby. Kathryn Berkett has a Masters in Educational Psychology and is presenting on understanding the human brain and implications for coaching, and Wesley Clarke; Black Ferns Assist Coach, presenting on coaching the Lineout and Team Attack/Defence.

This workshop is focused on coaching and creating a positive environment, so there will be several activities where participants involved in coaching. However the workshop is open to all, players, managers and interested people.

All coaches are required to register online before attending one of the 2018 Rugby Smart, Teenage and/or Small Black courses.

If you coached in 2017 you will recieve an email from your club or school to re-reigster for the 2018. If you havent recieved this email you can click on the link below to register.

Note: For coaches coaching players aged 12 and under, the driver’s license field must be completed for Police vetting purposes. If you are coaching this level you must bring two forms of ID to the coaching course and our Rugby Development Officers will check this.
