Off the back of a strong performance against Otago, the Bay of Plenty Steamers will take on Waikato in the Bayleys Battle of the Kaimai’s on tomorrow afternoon.

In a highly contested final Mitre 10 Cup round robin match at the Tauranga Domain, the Barrett Homes charity match day in support of Trillian Trek will be a tantalising watch for spectators.

Head Coach Clayton McMillan has named an experienced starting fifteen with the only change being the return of the experienced Culum Retallick in the number five jersey combining with Captain Keepa Mewett to complete the locking duo. The explosive backline will remain unchanged spearheaded by the illusive Monty Ioane.

McMillan has a talented bench to call upon with the inclusion of All Black hooker Nathan Harris and the welcomed return of loose forwards Tyler Ardron in jersey number 19 and Mitchell Karpik in jersey 20.
