The Bay of Plenty Rugby Football Union invites applications for the above position.

Reporting to the Community Rugby Team Leader, we are looking for self motivated, organised and time focused individuals with a strong background in rugby.

This is a great opportunity to join our BOPRU team of rugby professionals working within the wider Bay of Plenty area.

The Community Rugby Coaching Coordinator will be a key member of the Community Rugby Team, ensuring that the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union continues to set the standard for innovation and success of rugby development in New Zealand.

The key responsibility of this position is to build strong relationships between Clubs and Schools within the province and to provide growth and development opportunities for all coaches from Small Blacks to High Performance.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• A passion for rugby.
• Strong planning and analytical skills.
• Effective organisational and time management skills.
• Sound technical and tactical knowledge of the game.
• Adept at developing, coordinating and delivering coach programmes at all levels.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Event Management skills.
