BOP POLYTECHNIC GIRLS RUGBY FINAL WEEKS DRAW & TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Finals Day will be held at the Tauranga Domain on WEDNESDAY 4th AUGUST.
- Game 1. Nine v Ten Game to start at 10.00am
- Game 2. Losers of games 3 and 4 ***21st July game Game to start at 11.00am
- Game 3. Winners of games 3 and 4 ***21st July game Game to start at 12.00
- Game 4. Losers of games 1 and 2 ***21st July game Game to start at 1.00pm
- Game 5. Winners of games 1 and 2 ***21st July game Game to start at 2.00pm
All games will be 25 minutes each way. All other rules as have been played during this season to apply.
Trophies and certificates will be presented immediately after Game 5.
NOTE. If any school is not going to participate in Finals day or the preliminary games need to inform Mike Nitz or Nichola @ BOPRU
Games for the lead-up to finals day are taken from teams position on the ladder at the end of term 2 and will be as follows:
- Game 1. First v Fourth
- Game 2. Second v Third
- Game 3. Fifth v Eighth
- Game 4. Sixth v Seventh
Nine v Ten play against each other on Finals Day only.
As at 2nd July, the above would look like:
- Edgecumbe v Rotorua Girls
- Taupo/Tauhara v Western Heights
- Tauranga Girls v Whakatane High
- Trident v Te Puke High
First named team has the home advantage
Tongariro v Opotiki to be played on Finals Day.
These games to be played on Wednesday 21st JULY.
