Bay of Plenty Rugby Under 19's Coaching Management

Bay of Plenty Rugby Union are currently seeking expressions of interest for the Bay of Plenty Under 19's Coaching management for the 2019 season to defend their 2018 Under 19 Jock Hobbs title.

Working alongside the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union High Performance team the Under 19 programme is delivered to achieve set High Performance objectives. The team provides a clear pathway to higher honours for both players and coaches.

Papamoa College Under 14 Rugby - Head Coach

The Papamoa College U14 team are seeking expressions of interest for a Head Coach for the 2019 season. This role will involve leading an Assistant Coach and a team Manager. The team will play every Saturday morning at 10.30am and train at Papamoa College after school on the days that suit the coaching team. Competition games start around Saturday 4th May 2019. Ideally, it is best for training to start no later than 4pm.

Role is voluntary.

Papamoa College Under 16 Rugby - Assistant Coach (Backs focus)

The Papamoa College U16 team are seeking expressions of interest for an Assistant Coach for the 2019 season. This team is formed based on a new initiative from the BOP rugby union to keep players in the game, the team will be made up of students aged between year 10 and year 11. This role will involve working alongside a Head Coach and a team Manager. The team will play every Saturday morning at 10.30am and train at Papamoa College after school on the days that suit the coaching team. Competition games start around Saturday 4th May 2019. Ideally it is best for training to start no later than 4pm.

Role is voluntary.

Mitre 10 Cup/Farah Palmer Cup Game Day Volunteers

Bay of Plenty Rugby Union are now looking for volunteers for the upcoming Mitre 10 Cup and Farah Palmer Cup season for our five Steamers home games and 3 Volcanix Home games!

Current roles we have available include:

As game day volunteer, you will receive your own t-shirt and a unique opportunity to experience working in a sports setting.  The Steamers will play 5 home games (3 in Rotorua, 2 in Tauranga), with the Volcanix playing 3 home games (locations to be confirmed) with the possibility of additional semi-finals/finals games.  Game day staff will always be expected to demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service as a member of the Bay of Plenty Rugby staff.
