How will we do this?

  • Our staff will work together on three separate days to contribute to projects in local communities.
  • Three Give Back days will be undertaken across the region
  • Our expectation of a day is considered a 9am-3pm commitment or equivalent 6-hour period.
  • BOPRU will liaise with schools and clubs, to ensure that we are assisting our communities in the best way we can.
  • Our BOPRU Presidents group will also help us to connect with the right opportunities in the right area.

Guidelines:

  • We have an application process to ensure transparency, a clear purpose of how these days are allocated and how they benefit the community.
  • Community Give Back Day applications must clearly communicate their purpose and who the beneficiaries are.
  • All give back activity needs to align with the values of the BOPRU.
  • Any Community Engagement Day activity should not put any staff in danger or impose a health and safety risk e.g chain sawing trees, working alone risks.
  • You may want a few of us to support you, that's great! Our team is able to complete their Give Back Day as a group.
