Bay of Plenty Men's & Women's Semi-Final Previews

It’s the business end of the club rugby season as teams qualifying for the semi-finals get set to meet each other this weekend in a bid to secure themselves a finals spot.

Farmlands Co-operative Baywide Men’s competition will be played this Saturday. The Premier 1 division has Te Puna hosting Greerton Marist at Maramatanga Park and Tauranga Sports host Te Puke at Tauranga Domain. Both games kick-off at 2.45pm.

In Premier 2, Te Teko have home advantage when they play Waikite at Dunderdale Park, while Marist St Michaels host Arataki at Marist Park. Both games also kick-off at 2.45pm.

Premier 1 Development competition has some exciting match ups. Te Puna host Rangataua at Maramatanga Park and Te Puke host Tauranga Sports at Murray Salt Stadium. Both games kick-off at 1pm.

In Premier 2 Development, Ngongotaha have kindly offered Marist St Michael’s a home semi, so this match can be a curtain raiser to the Marist St Michael’s Premier 2 game against Arataki. Te Teko play Opotiki at Dunderdale Park. Both games kick-off at 1pm.

In the Division 1 competition Paroa host the first semi-final against Reporoa at Lawson Park and Judea host Murupara at Maharaia Winiata Park. Both games kick-off at 2.45pm.

Division 2 sees Katikati hosting Galatea/Waiohau at Moore Park and Edgecumbe host Eastern Districts at Edgecumbe Domain. Both games get underway at 2.30pm.

The Toi Ohomai Baywide Women’s competition has seen teams battling it out over to rounds. Sunday sees Rangiuru hosting Waimana at Centennial Park and Whakarewarewa host Rangataua at Puarenga Park. Both games kick-off at 1pm.
