Welcome everyone to the 2011 season.

Our sport of rugby refereeing has its own set of challenges and after the challenges come the
achievements. These achievements come from satisfaction gained from goals set by ourselves. It is
easy to meander into the season and see how things go, but setting yourself some goals at the very start
gives the basis for a plan about what you are going to achieve.

Goals are personal. These could involve a level of refereeing you may wish to achieve, a standard of
fitness perhaps, even the challenge offered to a first year Ref about taking up the whistle and joining a
satisfying sport.

Whatever your aspiration, reffing offers the best of camaraderie and delivers a great sense of
satisfaction.
