Board Member Positions
The term of two Board members have been completed; Sam Fellows and Megan Cleverly (Independent Directors).
Sam has indicated he will be standing for another term of 3 years. Megan will not be seeking re-election. Please see attached nomination form.
The Board membership also includes Scott Kahle (Independent and Chairman) Mel Manley, Whetu Rangi (Independant Directors), Warena Morgan and Phil Barnett (Rugby Directors).
Patron, President & Vice President
The roles of Patron, President and Vice President will continue in their roles and complete their terms at this stage.
Deadlines for information to be received:
- Nominations for Independent Director to be returned to Union offices no later than 5pm Thursday 7th March 2024. Click here for nomination form. If you do wish to apply for the vacant position of Independent Director, 2 documents that will assist you in applying include the BOPRU Board Diversity Matrix and the BOPRU Board Skills and Competency Framework.
- Patron will continue to serve their term.
- The Appeals Committee will continue to serve their term.
- Nominations for Life Membership and Distinguished Service Award to be returned to Union no later than 5pm Monday 11th March 2024. Click here for nomination form.
- Items addressed as part of General Business, should also in the first instance have the support of your Sub Union. Written notification is required to be sent to the Union office and received no later than 5pm Monday 20th March 2024. Click here for nomination form.
- Notice of Appointment of Delegates to be completed online and returned to the Union no later than 5pm Monday 21st March 2023. Click here to register your attendance as a delegate.
