ATHLETE FACTORY
Key Learnings
- As a group we had quite a range of decisions for the same clip. What factors would contribute to us making different calls?
- Decision making process
- Is it clear and obvious? (or did I just "think" I saw it...)
- Did it have a material (real) affect on the game, on what the opposition were trying to achieve?
- Work hard to earn the right to SEE the first offence. Many offences occur because of another prior that triggered it (e.g. player holding on to the ball but their arms were never released by the tackler)
- Head Contact? Apply Head Contact Process
- Foul play... as a general rule, do NOT play advantage from this.
- Blow the penalty, ensure the offender knows what they have been penalised for
Warm up before the match - Dynamic (moving) stretches
