Oyonnx partner with the Bay of Plenty Volcanix

We love nothing more than partnering with businesses who share our Union's passion for rugby and the growth of the game, and this statement couldn't be truer than with our latest Volcanix side of jersey sponsor; Oyonnx.

Oyonnx is a company that specialises in business consultancy services for SMEs across Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. Oyonnx focuses on individual solutions that cater specifically to each business.  Their process aims to unpack young businesses' hopes, dreams, strengths, and weaknesses and help foster positive growth by leveraging those strengths and solving problems ‘one small win at a time.’

"We believe that solving business problems is all about earning the small wins early," says CEO Aliitaeao (Tjay) Asiata.

"Success is a compounding effect. Sometimes it's about taking one step at a time because no matter the obstacle you face, you are always moving forward."

Despite the business's success, whose reach now services SMEs in three different regions, community and family are still at the heart of Oyonnx's core business values.

The family-owned business has been in operation for over 20 years running. It is a great source of pride for General Manager Felila Feausi and her aforementioned brother, Tjay.

"We want to acknowledge our parents, who started Oyonnx because they wanted to create a service that could give back to those in their community," says Feausi.

"Today, we are proud of how far the company has come. Just like our parents, we want to use the business as a tool to support our communities in any way we can."

Sponsorship towards causes they are passionate about is just one way Oyonnx looks to leverage its position to give back. When an opportunity came up to sponsor the Volcanix this season and help support the dreams of aspiring Bay of Plenty athletes, the opportunity fit right in with Oyonnx’s DNA.

"We are very passionate about the women's rugby space," says Tjay.

"We have female family members who play, my wife plays, and we also know Crystal and Brent Kaua well, who are of course leading the coaching force this season!”

"It started with a simple chat over coffee, things processed, and then we said, it's a great cause, why not!"

Oyonnx speak collectively when they say they feel privileged to support the Volcanix this year and have their name etched on the blue and gold. You can check out the Oyonnx website here, and the Volcanix 2022 Farah Palmer Cup schedule here for more information.
