
Bay of Plenty Rugby is pleased to announce the 2023 Toa squad. All players have been selected from Bay of Plenty Club Competitions.
“It’s an exciting group of players who have all worked hard to gain selection. The commitment to get to 5am starts for gym sessions and late night trainings have paid off for the group," said John Dodd, Head Coach of Toa.
The team start their Regional Competition with a game against Taranaki in Te Awamutu on the 12th August. Home games include Counties Manukau at Tauranga Domain on the 26th August and Auckland at Rotorua International Stadium on the 16th September (curtain raiser to Steamers v Wellington).
Prior to this, the team will have a tough warm up games against King Country Dev at Te Kuiti on July 29 and August 5 against Manawatu U19 at Owen Delany Park in Taupo.
