Anita Varga, Fulton Hogan’s Regional Manager – BOP has taken on some big challenges throughout her 20+ year career within the infrastructure and aggregate industry. One of those has been developing a more inclusive workplace in a male dominated industry.
“I’m very proud of the opportunities that are now available to both men and, in particular, women to progress through Fulton Hogan’s entire operations”. It hasn’t always been this way but we are a much better skilled and cohesive organisation as a result of these developments”, said Anita.
Anita Varga continued, “I’ve also seen these developments paralleled in sport, including rugby and am impressed how BOP Rugby have increased the opportunities for women of all ages to participate, develop and perform at their best. There is no doubt more can be achieved and Fulton Hogan’s support through this new partnership has the opportunity over time to foster BOP Rugby’s objectives to improve female performance outcomes”.
Fulton Hogan has come on board as the Steamers and Volcanix No15 back of jersey partner for the 2024 Bunnings NPC and FPC.
“We welcome Anita and her Fulton Hogan team on board with the Steamers and Volcanix teams” said Neil Alton, BOPR Partnership Manager. We look forward to working together in a mutually beneficial manner and developing this partnership over the next few seasons.
The 2024 Bunnings NPC & FPC season starts on the 10th August with the Volcanix and Steamers taking on Waikato in away fixtures.
