Workshop Background
The aim of the workshop is to remove the distraction of the content (i.e. rugby, netball etc) and focus on the coaching process - building relationships with match officials and having quality coaching conversations.
It is facilitated by world class coach educator Kyle McLean, of The Coaching Gig. Kyle currently contracts to NZ Rugby, BOPRU, NZ Netball, NZ Hockey, Sport NZ, amongst others.
First piloted in 2021, this course has received overwhelming praise from its participants, and has helped to break down the barriers between sporting codes, allowing Match Official Coaches to grow together and learn from each other.
