Kaimai Eggs hatches a plan to support BOP Rugby

Who doesn’t love local eggs! Kaimai Eggs are proudly locally produced in the Kaimai Ranges and sold around the Bay of Plenty Region in supermarkets and enjoyed in many of our favourite cafes around the Bay.

Otto McGirr and family are on a mission, along with his daughter and her partner Jim they launched the Kaimai Eggs. “We all share the same passion and dedication for providing our community with good quality, healthy food. We saw an opportunity to create the Kaimai brand to tell the story of paddock to plate” says Jim. “This is about giving people a local food choice. We’re your local farm.”

Jim continues, “We approached BOP Rugby to see if we could help them with some eggs for their representative programmes and junior rugby programmes and we are really pleased to now be a partner of BOP Rugby’s Tackle 5s Tournaments and having our logo on the back of the No. 16 Volcanix and Steamers jersey’s for the upcoming Bunnings FPC & NPC”.

“Everyone we talk to love know and love Kaimai Eggs”, said Neil Alton, BOPR commercial Manager. “Jim and Karlene are really passionate about our region and providing the best locally grown products to our community.  Our staff could really see the synergies with what BOP Rugby does in the community which is all about being active and healthy”.

Kaimai Eggs can be found in local stores around the Bay.
